So now that I’ve talked about my fears a little, I should tell you that they’ll all come to a head this month. IT’S COOL. I AM COOL. At least as cool as I get, which, depending on who you ask is either incredibly not at all cool or you know, relatively chill.
Awww, friends, it’s going to be terrific. I’m really excited. I’ve been peeking at some of the materials the Craftsy team has been sending me and they are super good.

I would like this lighting to follow me everywhere I go for the rest of my life, thank you very very much.
So: while I can’t give you an exact date- on the off chance that something goes wonky and we need to push that date back- we are looking to release this month, and with that in mind it’s about time to start talking about giveaways.

I didn’t say the words, but everybody knew, right?
While I never said it overtly, you all had a pretty good idea that this was going to be a dyeing class, correct? THIS IS 100% A HOW- TO- DYE CLASS, FRIENDS: Craftsy’s first yarn- dyeing class, actually, which I’m quietly super- chuffed over. Intended for beginners, this class covers everything from your gear, safety, materials, several different techniques, how to work with different bases, storage, as well as next steps in dyeing, and more!

I’m never going to stop loving pictures of yarn in a dyepot.
I’m offering the opportunity to win my class for free when it launches later this month! Click here to fill out an entry. (It’s currently listed it as a knitting class by default, but the course title will read “Professional Yarn Dyeing At Home”!)
If you’ve never taken a Craftsy class, I totally recommend them! Obviously you don’t have to take mine- maybe you already know how to dye or never wanted to learn!- Honestly, do take a quick poke around the website, there is a TON to learn and I love learning in this format. I’ve been taking Angela Fehr’s Better Paintings With Watercolor Sketching, as well as Luminous Watercolor Mixing from Kateri Ewing in order to expand my paint skills, and Lindsey Stephens’ Seaming Crochet and Andi Smith’s Save Our Stitches are upping my crochet game in a much- needed way. There are a ton of painting classes I still want to take, as well as some photography and drawing courses— all in due time. I really like the ability to learn when I have a moment, taking notes as I go and trying things out alongside the instruction.
Okay, before I sign off, here’s the giveaway link again: you can fill out an entry to win my class for free when it comes out later this month right here, and I’ll let you all know exactly when that happens, too. Thanks again for all the support!
(This post contains affiliate links, which help keep my blog up and running. This means that if you purchased a class through one of the affiliate links above, I’ll receive a small commission- large enough to afford a coffee, but not big enough to bring home a pygmy goat. Thanks for your support! No matter what, all my opinions and thoughts will always be my own.)
